The Spay Day 2010 celebration was a tremendous success! The event included a variety of free drawings, a raffle for a cat & dog bed full of fun items for pet and owner, cake and a sidewalk sale. Pet owners struggling to pay bills had an opportunity to apply for financial assistance to have their pet spayed or neutered. Paws of Chico volunteers processed applications at the event. A total of 66 vouchers were processed (27 dogs & 39 cats) to help with the cost of spay & neuter. This is a great start at reducing the number of unwanted litters in 2010.
